1/2 lb butter
1/2 cup crisco (butter flavor)
4 T Cocoa
1 cup water
bring above ingredients to a boil
In large mixing bowl:
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
pour hot mixture over flour and sugar. add:
1/2 cup buttermilk (2 T lemon juice per cup milk = buttermilk)
1 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Mix above together thoroughly. Pour into large (bigger than cookie sheet) creased pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 18-20 min.
Brownie Frosting
1/2 cup butter
2 T cocoa
6 T milk
boil together for a minute, remove from heat add powdered sugar that is a little bit on the runny side. beat well. add 1/2 T vanilla. Frost brownies when you take them out of oven.
