Chocolate Mint Brownies - Camille M

1 c. margarine or butter
3 oz baking squares or 5 T cocoa (I have always used cocoa)
1½ c. flour
½ tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. peppermint flavoring

Peppermint Frosting

2 c. powdered sugar
2 T. evaporated milk
6 T. margarine or butter
½ tsp. peppermint flavoring
4 drops green food coloring

Chocolate Layer

6 T. margarine or butter
8 oz. chocolate chips

Melt butter and cocoa; stir in sugar and eggs.  Add peppermint, flour and salt.  Bake in greased 9 x 13 pan for 30 min at 350.  Do not over-bake.  Cool completely.  Beat next 5 ingredients. Frost brownies and refrigerate 2 hours.  Melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat.  Spread over frosting.
